Advanced Dietitian (Cystic Fibrosis)

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated HCPC registered dietitian to work alongside a team of 3 other specialist CF Dietitians. The dietetic team provides care to CF inpatients, outpatients, those transitioning from paediatrics and ad hoc reviews.�

This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in a diverse range of CF related conditions such as pancreatic insufficiency, gastrointestinal conditions, CF diabetes, and CF bone disease. You will have the opportunity to take the dietetic lead for one of these sub-specialities.�

Knowledge and experience of working in CF would be an advantage but training will also be available. Previous clinical experience in nutritional support, pancreatic disease, respiratory or diabetes are highly desirable and this post would suit someone who has previously worked at a band 6 or 7 level in these specialities and is looking for a new challenge.�

The post holder must be able to demonstrate effective communication, be flexible in their approach and have an insight into the challenges of managing adults with a complex chronic disease. An understanding and strong commitment to multi-disciplinary team working is essential.�

This is a permanent position with up to 0.7WTE in cystic fibrosis (hours/days can be negotiated). There may be scope for more hours within other specialities depending on experience.�
